Our team is making the next-gen UAV platform.
We are thrilled to be working on what we believe will be the predominant platform design for future UAV’s that need both precision landing and hovering capabilities and efficient long-range flight. Our unique, patent-pending designs coupled with our development integrations have led to an amazing outcome of engineering and innovation.
If you’re passionate about UAV’s, aviation, software, embedded systems, or any combination of the above – let us know.
We are based in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Here, we have designed, built, and hope to manufacture all xCraft components and assemble the platform for hobbyists and commercial customers.
To develop small, powerful flying machines that change the world.
Our Core Values
We perpetuate a high velocity of innovation

Meet The Team
JD Claridge is the CEO and co-founder of xCraft, a leading drone company developing innovative vehicles for the UAV market. JD was born with a passion for flight. Building and crashing flying toys throughout his youth taught him much about the science and art of flight vehicle design. He once built a (mostly) functional hang glider at the age of 7 and convinced his best friend to test fly it.
Charles Manning is the CEO of a leading mobile analytics technology company, Kochava. An aviation enthusiast, Charles was immediately excited about working with JD to help make the X PlusOne a reality.
Eileen Crossley has a background in the insurance industry. Prior to her current position as Operations Lead at xCraft, she worked for an accounting firm where she assisted several start-up companies. She is currently pursuing her ChFC and believes in continuing education
Christine Woeller is a recent graduate of University of Idaho and current Finance MBA student at Gonzaga University. Using her knowledge of photography and videography, she has been able to incorporate her skills as the Creative Lead of xCraft. Outside of work, Christine volunteers as a goalie coach and Young Life leader for the local high school.
Lucas Rockstrom, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, majored in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on material design. He has enjoyed building, flying and experimenting with RC models since child-hood. Outside of work, hiking, biking and skiing are favorite pastimes.
Kenny is a Senior at Lewis-Clark State College in Coeur d’ Alene. He will graduate at Christmas with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing. He is the President of the Business Student Organization at LCSC and enjoys staying active in community events. In his free time, Kenny enjoys golfing, hiking, and boating.
